The guitarist José Tomás (1934-2001), a pupil of Andrés Segovia, was himself a renowned teacher and mentor to numerous classical guitarists worldwide, including soloists such as David Russell, Ignacio Rodes, amongst others. He was also known for faithfulness to the original and clever fingerings in his arrangements and transcriptions. This anthology includes arrangements from Dowland to Bach to Granados and Ravel, presented here for the first time in an authorised collection based on the manuscripts.
